Squid Game’s Hidden Message. Did You Miss It?

Like many, I binge-watched the show Squid Game. It was different than any other T.V show I had seen. I quickly became invested in the characters' lives. One character that struck me more than the others that I don’t feel is talked about enough, however, is Ali! For the first time in a long time, I was watching a character who was a foreigner that was deemed as good, intelligent, and an asset to a team.
